Pale Ale

Pale ales are made just as their name implies—with lightly roasted "pale" malts. Pale ales are crisp and slightly robust, and they usually have a better malt-to-hops ratio than more bitter beers. This family of beers is great for session drinking because they aren't abrasive to your palate.
