Prince Charles Just Launched His Own Organic Gin, and It Contains Herbs from His Personal Garden

The royal familyis known for connecting with the community and keeping busy with charitable work, and Prince Charles has a creative new philanthropic venture. According toThe Daily Mail, the royal created his own gin and proceeds from sales will benefit thePrince of Wales' Charitable Fund, which supports causes for education, the environment, social inclusion, health, and well-being. Prince Charles also worked withThe Oxford Artisan Distillery, which is the United Kingdom's first certified organic grain-to-glass distillery, tobring the finished product to life. "We created Highgrove Gin as a team. The result of this collaboration is a spirit that represents and embodies The Royal Gardens at Highgrove," Cory Mason, master distiller, said. "It is traditional, elegant, refined, but with complex herbal notes of a traditional English garden. Like Highgrove itself, it is classic, but there is an element of the wild."
