  • In a large heavy skillet, heat the butter over medium high heat, then stir in the shallot, garlic, 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shallot and garlic are golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in the broccoli, water andsambal oelekand cook, covered, until the broccoli is crisp-tender and the water is evaporated, 10 to 12 minutes. Drizzle with the sesame oil, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
