The active prep and cooking time for this recipe is 45-75 minutes, depending upon whether or not you have already cut, de-boned, and shredded the rotisserie chicken meat and whether or not you have boiled the lasagna noodles. Frankly, the dish took a lot of work for something that was not all that flavorful.
Not a bad recipe, except two problems - one, there is nothing "fast" about it unless you already have a boned-out rotisserie chicken laying around. And the bechamel sauce already made. Because assembly alone will take 15 minutes. And yes, nothing about the noodles. Prep time is around 45 minutes. I used no-boil noodles, soaked them in hot water to soften them a bit while assembling the layers. They worked great. You need 9 for an 8x11 pan.
This doesn't direct you to cook the lasagna noodles before assembling the casserole. Please update recipe for clarity.
Very tasty ! I would warn you that the prep time is longer than 15 mins especially if you have to debone and shred the chicken.
