The recipe came out perfect. I was afraid the gin would be too polarizing for some, so I added an extra ¼ cup of sugar and it turned out just fine. I did not use elderflower liquor (because I hadn't any) and subbed cake flavored vodka which did nothing as the flavor was too light to detect. But either way, this was a hit and I want all my alcohol in gelatin form now.

This was fantastic. It was the hit of our Thanksgiving dinner. After reading the comment that it was bitter, I swapped the gin for Cointreau. Turned out beautiful and tasty.
