I was so looking forward to this lovely-looking and sounding dessert, but I was extremely disappointed. Easy ingredients list, easy to make, and lovely to look at. But it was *very* disappointing, Where was the cherry taste? The jam all soaked into the bottom crust, leaving a mushy, soggy, unappealing mess that separated from the ricotta. The ricotta custard by itself would have been fine, and maybe swirling in the cherry jam instead might have been more effective in getting the tart cherry taste I was looking for. We ate some, but ended up discarding the rest.
