The unbaked biscuits can be frozen: Freeze biscuits in a single layer and transfer to a resealable plastic bag for up to one month. Bake straight from the freezer, adding a few minutes to the cooking time.
Recipe came together without fuss or issue. Biscuits were a little dry and lacking in richness.
This recipe was outstanding. The biscuits were so soft inside, flakey/buttery on the outside.
Delicious, quick, easy, and buttery. This recipe took less time than instructed. 13 biscuits for 10 minutes @425 degrees.
Can't say that I have anything bad to say here, but I can't think of anything good, either. I feel like the reviews are padded quite a bit for the 5.7k that Google says you have.
They were average biscuits. Easy enough recipe for beginners or those in a hurry, but there are many better out there.
Won't make these again.
Taste was ok. The quantity of baking soda and baking powder seem to be off though because the biscuits didn't rise one bit. A similar recipe I found has more than double the baking powder.
This recipe is hands down the best I’ve ever baked. Thank You.
OMG!! The best biscuit I’ve ever eaten or made. Crunchy on bottom and on top. Soft and airy in the middle. I NEVER have written a review before. This recipe made me. The only thing I did differently was I used a grader on the butter before mixing with flour. Awesome.
These are a basic good biscuit, but not something that 5k other people would comment on saying that they are the best. There is nothing unique about them to justify so many ‘responses’. This is definitely a ploy to attract others to their recipe. Even though it’s a descent recipe, I wouldn’t make them again for 1) having dishonesty behind it, 2) I have a better one I make.
I'm making the biscuits for the second time this morning. The first time I followed recipe to the "T" & everyone raved. Just melt in your mouth delicious!!
This recipe is a keeper! I made it on vacation without my “normal” baking equipment-no bench scraper, no rolling pin, no pastry cutter, etc. but they still came out great!
Have you tried the biscuits? Are they worth 5 stars? I tried several times to pull up the reviews and nothing comes up? I have not tried them yet but plan to make them tonight for dinner and I will post back after I try them.
Where are the reviews?
I made these and was very happy with how they turned out. The entire family thought they were fantastic. I doubled the recipe and had ample batter to make 12 thick biscuits that nicely fluffed up to almost 2 inches thick when cooked.
Where are the biscuit reviews for this recipe?
