Easy, time is the only factor for assembly. It came out looking absolutely gorgeous and did not last long....delicious! Well worth the time to make the apple-ham rosettes. Adding this one to my favorites file.
I found this recipe to be difficult. I followed the instructions for baking the crust, but after adding the custard mixture and baking, the crust was a bit soggy. Also I found the amount of ham/apple to be inadequate to fill the crust. And how do you keep the ham/apple circles intact when placing in the crust?
