After seeing the new 3-Dmovie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which is loosely based on the 1978 children'sbookby Judi and Ron Barrett about a tiny town called Chewandswallow with a peculiar weather pattern (it rains soup and juice, snows mashed potatoes and hails meatballs), I've been inspired to try a few recipes from the F&W archives:
Alison Attenborough and Jamie Kimm’sMeatball Spiedini, pictured here (total time is only 25 minutes)
F&W's own Melissa Rubel Jacobson’sFontina Stuffed Veal Meatballs(the surprise inside each of her tender meatballs: a molten cheese center)
Jeff Orr'sTurkey-Date Meatballs with Lentils and Yogurt Sauce(healthy and zesty)
andthese 10 recipesthat are fantastic in any weather.
